Scripture Interprets Scripture

Here is an excerpt from page 34 of my book:

….”the CoC would stress the doing of God’s will in verses such as John 7:17, but would leave out the fact that doing His will meant believing solely upon Jesus Christ for eternal life (Jn. 6:40), and how everything else would fall into place after that.”

  1. Hello, I am currently reading your book as I have just recently left the coc. I’ve had to close the book to cry, repent to God for believing false doctrine, and to ultimately thank Him. I’m truly grateful that He used you to help me and others who have gone through what we have. When the Gospel was shared I felt completely free because I believed it! I’m learning so much. To God be the Glory but thank you for being obedient!

    1. Hi Kiandra,

Praise the Lord! And thank you as well for reaching out and sharing your testimony. It is only by the saving grace of God that you have been given the courage to do so. And being given repentance and faith in the true Christ of Scripture could only mean that one has been truly regenerated by the Holy Spirit!!

As a result of such a radical change, your life will surely continue to produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit, so that you too will hopefully become a light that can help to shine away the darkness in others lives as well.

Jesus said, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (Jn. 8:36).
